Cedro, since its foundation in the XIX century, is recognised for its pioneerism and integrity, besides its directors' future vision. Conduct and Ethics












Cedro's Conduct Code represents the consolidation of guidelines which govern the personal and professional behaviour of directors and collaborators in the company's business management and relationship with the various publics.

Producing and marketing, serving and interacting with people we should, always, guide ourselves by these principles, which express our posture as a citizen company, honest and capable, which honours and values its history.

Publishing our Code of Conduct, we commit ourselves with the adherence of all recommendations described in it.

Volunteers





Semente Cedro (Cedro Seed), business volunteer programme, aims to encourage collaborators, family, shareholders, pensioners, clients and suppliers in volunteer community activities. It is up to Cedro to stimulate volunteer work and promote the training of all who are willing to donate their time, work and talent to benefit others.

The programme is structured by means of the Executive Committee, responsible for the corporate co-ordination. Besides the Local Committees – of Caetanópolis, Pirapora and Sete Lagoas –, who prepare projects for the improvement of the quality of life of all communities around them.

The general objectives of Semente Cedro are: widen the reach of the company's social action; favour the dialogue between the company and its relationship public; strengthen the internal volunteer culture and join forces to meet the Millennium Objectives.

SEMENTE CEDRO


Music band Euterpe Santa Luzia





Cedro supports, since its founding in 1917, the Music Band Euterpe Santa Luzia, of Caetanópolis, made up of 41 employees and local community members. In 2005 there were 33 presentations in Minas Gerais, in Belo Horizonte and Sao Paulo. The band also has a music school, which now serves 40 children and adolescents.

The Music Band Euterpe Santa Luzia is conducted by maestro Valdomir Nascimento Carneiro and has varied repertoire, ranging from hymns to national and international classics.
Formation:

  • Reeds: 2 flutes, 12 clarinets, 2 high saxophones, two tenor saxophones;
  • Metals: 3 bombardinos, three horns, four trumpets, four trombones rod, two basses, tubas in Bb;
  • Percussion: 1 drummer, 1 bomber, 1 caixista, 1 shelf, 2 accessories.
